Anna Alexson, Head of People and Culture, reflects on Quickspin’s Great Place to Work Certification and the Future of Workplace Culture
Quickspin is again certified as a Great Place to Work!
This certification is awarded to companies where employees experience a high level of trust, fairness, pride, and camaraderie. It’s based on an independent evaluation of workplace culture, and we’re proud to say we meet the high standards.
We sat with Anna Alexson, Quickspin’s Head of People and Culture, to hear her reflections on this certification and how it shapes the road ahead.
Quickspin has officially been certified as a Great Place to Work. Congratulations to all Quickspinners and to you Anna, as Head of People and Culture! What does this recognition mean for the company?
Anna Alexson, Head of People and Culture: Honestly, when I read the results, I felt so proud, not just as part of Quickspin but as a colleague to all the amazing people who make this place what it is. Culture isn’t something we build in a vacuum; it’s something we create together, day by day. This certification is proof that our employees feel safe, valued, and empowered, and that means everything.
At Quickspin, we’ve always believed that a strong culture is the foundation of our success. That’s why we’re incredibly proud to once again receive the Great Place to Work certification; an achievement that reflects the trust, pride, and camaraderie we’ve built together. Quickspin is the sum of its people, highly skilled employees that form strong teams and managers that lead these teams with immense efficiency and in a manner that everyone feels proud to be part of the Quickspin team. More than just a badge, this certification is a testament to the people who make Quickspin what it is: a welcoming, fair, and inspiring workplace for everyone.
Quickspin has always been known for its strong culture. What are some of the key initiatives that have contributed to this certification?
Quickspin’s culture is built on inclusion, collaboration, and the belief that great ideas can come from anyone. We’ve worked hard to create an environment where people feel heard, supported, and excited to contribute.
One of the biggest priorities for us has been diversity and inclusion, not just as a box to tick, but as a mindset that shapes how we work. Every Quickspinner should feel like they belong and can bring their whole self to work.
We also invest heavily in professional development. We don’t want people to just have jobs here, we want them to have fulfilling careers. We help employees grow both personally and professionally.
Our hybrid work model has been a game-changer, giving people the flexibility to balance work and life while keeping collaboration strong. And of course, well-being is a top priority. Whether it’s mental health support, team-building activities, or simply fostering an open and supportive atmosphere, we make sure our people feel good, not just about their work, but about being part of Quickspin.
You stepped into your role in 2022, and since then, Quickspin has gone through several changes. How has the company evolved, and what does this certification represent for Quickspin’s future?
Quickspin has always had a strong culture, but as we grow, we need to keep evolving. We’re now operating on a global scale, expanding into new markets and strengthening our teams in Bulgaria, Malta, Sweden, Ukraine and Poland. That growth brings exciting opportunities, but it also means we have to be intentional about preserving what makes Quickspin special.
This certification is a reminder of what we stand for. It’s also a tool to help us refine and future-proof our culture. The world of work is changing, and we want to make sure we continue to be a place where people feel connected, motivated, and empowered.
In 2023, you also stepped into a strategic leadership role, supporting four organizations and expanding your team. How does this impact Quickspin’s future?
Being part of a larger network within Playtech gives us access to even more resources, insights, and best practices. It strengthens our ability to support our people and adapt to industry changes.
Looking ahead to 2025, we’ll be using data from the GPTW survey to pinpoint areas for improvement while doubling down on what we already do well. Culture remains our greatest strength, and we’ll keep refining how we work to make Quickspin an even better place for our people.
There’s a lot of exciting growth ahead, especially in areas like AI, product innovation, and cross-company collaboration. But at the core of it all, our culture is what will keep us moving forward. And I can’t wait to see where we go next, together!
